About Me!
Where it all began…
I started ballet at the age of 2 at my local park district. While my first dance recital may have ended with my refusal to even step on stage, I have always loved to perform. Throughout my childhood, I was always putting on shows for friends and family, making up dances in the living room, and constantly making music videos.
At the age of 13, I began to study under Elise Flagg, a protégée of George Balanchine. Getting to train in the Balanchine style from someone so close to him was a privilege and something I will never take for granted. I also had the privilege of being taught by many other amazing teachers at EFAD, who all believed in me from day one. I would not be where I am today without the support of my EFAD family!

Passion for Teaching
I have had a passion for teaching for as long as I can remember. Throughout high school, I had the opportunity to take several Childhood Education Courses and complete a Teaching Internship in my senior year. Little did I know that this internship would be one of the best decisions I ever made. I loved lesson planning and teaching, of course, but it was the connections I made with the students that made me realize I wanted to pursue teaching in some facet.

Go Stars!
After countless hours of research and auditions, I decided to attend Oklahoma City University's Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment. I was especially drawn to their Dance Pedagogy degree because it would allow me to combine my love of dance and teaching into one. Through this program, I learned how to become a stronger dancer, teacher, leader, and person. I am proud to share that I was the 2026 recipient of the "Outstanding Graduating Senior in Dance Pedagogy" award from the Ann Lacy School. Most recently, I graduated with my B.S. in American Dance Pedagogy. Onto the next adventure!
